Pastor Mary Clemons was Ordained on November 9th,
2008
Mary
Clemons’s story is one of inspiration, courage
and faith. Having spent 15 years in an abusive
relationship, her story will bring you laughter
and tears, and your heart is sure to be touched,
whether it’s with her words or her song.
She has
been active in music and church ministry for
over 20 years and shares her experience living
through domestic violence as a Christian woman.
Her heart’s desire is to see other victims also
overcome and be victorious in their own
life-situations. It doesn’t matter what the
storm in life is, we all have a common anchor
which is Jesus!
Mary
works full time in ministry as the Executive
Director of Administration and co-founder of a
domestic violence / sexual assault crisis
agency, Healing Hearts Ministry (www.hhmtexas.org).
She loves to travel educating & speaking to
adults and youth about domestic violence and
sexual assault at civic clubs, church groups,
retreats and conferences.
Having
answered the call to preach in November 2008
Mary also spends part of her time preaching and
sharing God’s word. Music has always been an
important part of her life and she has felt
incredibly blessed to have recorded two gospel
CD’s: “When God Shows Up” which has been a
fundraiser for Healing Hearts Ministry and “Give
Us a Happy Home” which is her newest project.
